full circle.

all throughout the Olympics, i perpetually had the Olympics theme and the Lion King stuck in my head. and now i know why as it has all come full circle …

today i was on twitter and i saw Tom Daley had posted a photo of him with the cast after seeing the Lion King.

now it all makes sense why i was singing songs from the Lion King all throughout the Olympics.

well … in my head at least there is resolution.

the boys.

Tonight at work I was determined to watch 1D perform at the Olympic Closing Ceremonies.

So… when the time came, I scurried over to a TV in the other room and stood watching, smiling, and saying “my babies” as my co-workers looked at me like a crazy woman.

One of my co-workers asked who was who… and so I spouted out their names like they were my own.

I watched the boys as I also watched this other girl watching them. She was probably 17. I am 20. This is my life.

Also, Ed was amazing. Glad I was able to see his performance tonight!

Obadiah.
dad: what if David Boudia's name was Obadiah Boudia?
me: oh my... *chuckles to self*
brother: he could be Amos Boudia and then he would be chronological.
me: *shaking head at the horrible puns my family comes up with*
seriously... this is my life.
team gb.

is it bad that i’m more excited about tom daley making the men’s 10m platform final than david boudia and nicholas mccrory?

did i mention that i’m from the states… not the uk.

oops.
